God is so hilarious

I was looking back through my old blogs and trying to remember exactly what happened with all the termination stuff for our kids...there were so many court dates that didn't get finished, or got continued, etc. that it is hard to keep it all straight!

I stumbled across this: http://crashcourseinparenting.blogspot.com/2012/04/infertility-awareness-week.html

And all I can say is HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. God is seriously so funny.  What in the world.  About 3 months after writing this I was approximately 2 weeks along with our first biological baby.  Or four weeks, if you go by the normal way of counting pregnancies. Which makes no sense to me considering I wasn't actually pregnant for those first 2 weeks.  Whatever!

I'll still reiterate that adoption is NOT a cure for infertility, all I can say is that this must have been His plan all along.  I mean I know that is how it happened, that I got pregnant like seriously a week or two after bio dad's rights were terminated...but it doesn't always happen that way!

13 weeks today! I think no matter how you want to look at it the 1st trimester is basically over.  Yeeesssss!

I had a dream about a brown-haired white baby boy last night. This is my second boy dream.  I don't know if it's a sign or what!  In my dream the boy was 1 year old and I had just found out I was pregnant again....  Eeeeeep.

We are talking about middle names for the kids for when the adoptions are finalized. I think we have decided on Y and M's middle names, and we have one I like for C but I'm not sure if we are set on it or not. D's middle name we both like, actually if it wasn't already his middle name it would be a name that I would possibly be interested in picking for our bio baby if it is a boy, so I think we won't even pick a different one for him. Not that he'd take it anyway. :)  I think we are going to give D the option of keeping his last name now as a second middle name though. We've talked about letting him keep his last name and it is really an agonizing decision.  In a way to take it feels like robbing him of his family history...but also not giving him our last name is robbing him of his place in OUR family.  So ultimately we've decided to give him our last name, then when he is 19 he can change it back if he wants!

Surprisingly we agree on more names than I thought we would, which is good!  For those of you that might not know, we have a Shiba Inu (dog) and after 3 days of name discussions we couldn't agree on anything...so her name is Shiba. Yeah. I don't think we can get away with calling our baby "Baby" or "Human" so it's good we can think of some names that we both like! :)
