Thank you God!
OK so after writing my blog last night (which by the way I didn't even want to write, but my husband said I ought to do one, so I did) last night Ben only woke up three times. And one of those times was right before I went to bed, so I only got up with him twice! Whaaaaaat!?!?!? The last time he woke as around 5 or 5:30, I can't remember exactly. But after I laid back in bed I thought to myself "Boy, I sure feel well-rested...zzzzzzzzz" :)
Then this morning I woke up at 7:30 and went to check on him, and he lifted his head up and looked around. I thought for sure he was awake and I rubbed his little fuzzy head, but his head flopped back down and he went back to sleep for almost another hour. Silly baby! Then at church he was fussy because he needed a nap, but when we got home I got him down and he has been asleep for...wait for it...almost 3.5 hours. What? Whose baby is this?? I snuck in a little nap and honestly I'm rested enough that I just couldn't sleep anymore, my body is confused. Ha ha!
So I am out of coffee at home, and I was super excited to get some coffee at church. So I got some, and after only a few sips Ben was being fussy so I got him out of his car seat to hold him on my lap. Then what do you know, he smacks the coffee right out of my hands right as church was starting. D'oh! Guess I won't be doing that again. It was a HUGE mess, it got everywhere. Ugh.
Another thing I've been doing which I forgot to mention before, since it is so hard for me to get out of bed in the mornings (I know that sounds horrible, but it is true) is I try to have my quiet time in the afternoons if there is a time when all 3 kids are sleeping at once. Usually there is like 30-45 minutes where they are all asleep. It makes a big difference when I can sneak that in. Then also running more in the evenings instead of in the mornings. I promise I used to be an early bird before this baby came along. :)
Anyway, I feel much much much better. Thank you all for your prayers!
